Welcome

Yesterday I settled on my first DSLR camera. My family gave it to me for Mother's Day. Other than spending great family time with them, this was the best present ever! I have wanted a new camera for so long, this is like a dream coming true. I needed a project, so for now, this will be my outlet as I'm learning all about this new monster of mine. That is, of course, in whatever time I have leftover after keeping up with my classes, running around after the kiddos and keeping the husband well fed.

Here is what came out of my first playdate with my new sidekick! It doesn't hurt to have a very handsome partner in crime to allow me to get some great shots. I hope you enjoy and I look forward to suggestions and comments.
